Clinical Scenario

52-year-old lady presents with a 1-year history of progressively worsening numbness of the right thumb, index, and middle finger, associated with pain over the anterior forearm. The patient denies any weakness while performing daily hand functions.

Objectives:
1. Assess patients with suspected median nerve neuropathy.
2. Discuss the aetiology of median nerve compressive neuropathies.
3. Knowledge of specific clinical findings distinguishing pronator syndrome from other causes of median nerve neuropathy.
4. Provide a management plan for patients suffering from pronator syndrome.
