
Clinical Scenario
You review a 2-month-old baby at your paediatric plastic surgery outpatient clinic who has been referred by the paediatric team. He has right-sided chest wall hypoplasia and syndactyly of the middle three digits.
Objectives:
1. Take a history from the family.
2. Consider a differential diagnosis.
3. Arrange appropriate investigations.
4. Consent for surgery.
5. Manage expectations.
