Clinical Scenario

A 70-year-old presents with the lesion pictured above. The lesion has been present for 5 months and has not increased in size. She is an avid fisherman and had a heart transplant 10 years ago.

Objectives:
1. Identify the clinical features of Merkel Cell Carcinoma (MCC).
2. Make a comprehensive diagnostic plan for MCC.
3. Determine the treatment plan for MCC.
4. Create a follow-up plan for MCC after treatment.
