Clinical Scenario
You are working with the national brachial plexus service. A baby is referred to your clinic by the neonatologists as they have had a limp left arm since the time of delivery.
Objectives:
1. Take a history from parents of a baby with congenital brachial plexus palsy.
2. Examine the baby and create a differential diagnosis.
3. Plan appropriate investigations.
4. Discuss your surgical management plan.
5. Discuss longer-term follow-up and potential sequelae.
